The Dutchess Beat is published by Ulster Publishing and covers Dutchess County, and the City of Poughkeepsie, the Town of Poughkeepsie and the Town of Hyde Park principally. The Beat is an official newspaper of Dutchess County and the City of Poughkeepsie. Since 1995, we have served the local news needs of the Mid-Hudson Valley with a depth that no other media outlet provides.  We are an active member of the Dutchess Regional Chamber of Commerce.
