State Audit Finds Watson Made 'Improper Payments'
Comptroller's report released this week

A long-awaited state audit released Wednesday found that former City of Poughkeepsie School District Superintendent Robert Watson “bent, twisted and broke the rules to make improper payments to himself and others.” Those were the words of New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli during a news conference on the steps of Kreiger Elementary School. Full Story
