7th Ward Signature Dispute Adjourned in Court Hearing

Action on a dispute between two candidates for the City of Poughkeepsie’s 7th Ward will have to wait until at least Aug. 10, a judge determined Wednesday. Republican candidate for Common Council, newcomer David Brown, went to court to challenge signatures obtained by his opponent, incumbent Gwen Johnson (D). Full Story
